Kappa Delta Pi

Kappa Delta Pi (Pi Beta Chapter) is an international honor society for education majors, one of С²ÝӰԺ’s resident student organizations (RSO). The three goals of KDP at С²ÝÓ°Ôº:

  • Recognize educators who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and commitment to the educational profession.
  • Address the needs of members throughout all phases of their career in education.
  • Provide a learning community that supports professional growth.

Eligibility:

Undergraduates:

  • At least 18 semester hours completed
  • At least 6 semester hours of Professional Education courses in progress or completed
  • 3.5 GPA or higher

Graduate Students:

  • Accepted into the graduate school and pursuing coursework in education
  • Completion of 6 semester hours of graduate work in current program
  • 3.75 GPA or higher

Expectations:

  • Meeting Attendance
  • Initiation Ceremony (Tuesday, April 16, 2024 @ 6:00 PM)
  • Service Projects
  • Fundraising
  • Professional Development
  • Active (Paid) Membership
  • Maintain GPA
