Lisa Mommsen graduated from the University of Nebraska in Omaha with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in International Studies. After obtaining a master鈥檚 degree in Second and Foreign Language Education from Soka University of America, she taught English as a Foreign Language for six years at a women鈥檚 college in Tokyo. There she taught classes that include public speaking, academic writing, test taking and some business classes. After returning to the United States in 2002, she taught English classes in California and Texas.
